    Australia

    "
Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull branded the actions of Smith and Bancroft "completely beyond belief".
"We all woke up this morning shocked and bitterly disappointed by the news from South Africa," Turnbull told reporters in Australia.
"It seemed completely beyond belief that the Australian cricket team had been involved in cheating. After all, our cricketers are role models and cricket is synonymous with fair play."

And in other news, a pig which had sprouted wings was seen flying over Clitheroe.

Smith got a £10k fine, a one match ban and demerits!!
However he is still playing in this test- bring on the red cards.
Cameron Bancroft, who was caught rubbing the sticky yellow tape on the ball, has been docked 75 per cent of his match fee and been hit with three demerit points for his role.

    What a shambles

The price for cheating ---not very much really which will probably encourage, rather than discourage, others. The problem lies within the game itself because these are fairly standard punishments for things which are considered 'minor offences'

Here we go! The schadenfreude, outraged brigade are out in full force.

We cheat, the Aussies cheat, everyone cheats at something. Pass me that bloody nail file?

Maybe just maybe the Australian cricket board will dish out something that will fit the crime.. The Aussies are a laughing stock at the moment and are complaining that they are getting too much stick in South Africa .. Can you believe that ..the Arrogant gits ..

Come uppance delivered as they get booed out and back from the crease by the SA crowd and go on to lose the Test by 10 wickets in the final session of day four to lose the third Test by 322 runs and go 2-1 down in the series.

Chasing a target of 430, they reached 47-0 at tea but were all out for 107. Smith had made one when he top-edged Kagiso Rabada for six, but soon departed for seven. Aussie integrity is now at stake. They may roo their tactics which were agreed at the top.
