    Blackburn Rovers on their promotion. I am sure that Alf will have already posted this somewhere!

    Rightly so.
    Biggest club in the North West when you take away Liverpool, Man City, Man Utd and Everton.

    Exactly Dave, they/Blackburn have done very well and its what all clubs want to do isnt it, go straight back up after relegation.
    Im sure Alf doesnt mind people giving them credit, he likes them really lol.

    That lot are in the north midlands. The true North West starts above Lancaster.

    Did Alan Shearer once play for Blackburn?
    I like him but then again i cannot stand Chris Sutton so i could not care less about Blackburn.

    Yes Shearer did play for t'Rovers Tricky. He won his only ever proper football medal with them,when they won the Prem' in 1995.
