Its the german guy, he has flown in for final talks. For me its **** or bust. Take the league by strom and all is good, go on a losing streak and then see how the board react to the fans. Have we got a blackpool situation on our hands here.

It ez to be us that is the one not to go down the tried and tested route to succeed in the rough arse dog feyt involved in achieving promotion from the Third Division. Pass and Move's fine research ez shown that in the last ten seasons 29 of the 30 teams promoted edda British manager who knew the English game in or around that level. The one who wasn't British, Poyet, had laiked the game here.
Am not saying the HC ez to be British, the key fact is they ed existing knowledge of the English game.

As a reminder the managers/HC's are (some winning promotion mooar than once)---

    Cook,Mowbray,Warne,Wilder,Parkinson,Harris,Caldwel l,Clough,Heckingbottom,Cotterill,Robinson,Grayson( 3),Jacket(2),Warburton,Evans,Flynn,Howe,Johnson,Po well,Jones,Poyet,Adkins(2),Ferguson(2),Lambert,Pea rson.

This probable new lad, Herr Stendal, ed 3 token games at the end of a Bundesliga relegation season with Hannover96 and then looked like being on course to bring them straight back up so he clearly has managerial ability at that level. He was then sacked with a few games left in late April when a new Director of Football came in and ent worked in the 14 months since. Ad like to get to the bottom of that carry on.
I ed Morais darn as a pillaker from Day One and took stick for that. This new lad seems to ev mooar abart him and I hope he breaks the sequence of managers with knowledge of the English game being successful. Azza sed, it's Goat Hair going out on a limb here with the stats against him.

    Go Barnsley.

Director of Football anyone ? Winnie ?

    So will I Ponte.

Season Ticket in hand and full of optimism. I'm a lot mooar behind Herr Stendal than The Great Pillaker.

Bring on the fixtures ! When is Accrington away ? It will go global. Get that in lights in Time Square, New York.

Yes, all set up now for the Press Conference unveiling. Whitey will say he was our first and only choice and quote his managerial record of 28 games--W15 D7 L6 a 53.7 % win stat. three of those in the Bundesliga (W2 D0 L1) and 25 in Bundesliga2 (W15 D7 L6). No mention will be made of why he has been unemployed for 14 months.
