    Warney or Hursty?

Seems like a long time ago, but isn't, that this was a topic of discussion when the manager's post was up for grabs. Looking at the Ipswich forum, some fans are already calling for Hurst to be given the push.

As for me, I'm delighted with Warney's progress. As a bloke, he's everything I would want our manager to be. We're playing competitive football and achieving good or better results. If he keeps us up this season I can see bigger clubs come sniffin given his increasing media profile.

I think they'll both eventually move on to bigger teams than they are currently at. PH has had a tough start at Ipswich but maybe they'll look at the start PW had with us and realise that him getting experience and persevering with him might pay dividends.

My dear G*****O Cam, please put your money where your mouth is. Neither of these two will ever manage above where they are now. Sad but true.

Well I suppose 'above' is subjective but I believe you are a fair man in judgement of that so let's say a whole pint

e.g. PW to manage Norwich, Sheff Wed/Utd, not sure where Ipswich would be classed in modern day pecking order as past FA Cup winners with European exploits.

Well, a whole pint is rather more than I'd bargained for but what the heck - you only live once. Quite how we establish "above" is problematical and I may have to sleep on it.

Still think Hursty will manage us one day, but not in the championship.
