I'm going to go out on a limb and say…

We will not win this league this season.

    Reasons? Where to start…

270 minutes + of football against Ayr United and not one goal can we manage.

Goal difference: You have to go in to the bottom half of the table to find a team with worse goal difference than us.

Opportunities: We get chance after chance, knowing that a win will put us top/joint top of the league. Every time we get one of the "six pointers" we offer absolutely nothing - we blow it EVERY TIME.

Motivation: The utter humiliation in our previous meeting with Ayr United should have been more than enough motivation for the players to go out and get ripped into them from the first whistle, not to mention the incentive of going joint top of the league, but NO! We get totally bossed and lose an early goal, yet again.

Also, teams who lose 5 goals at home TWICE in one season don't often win championships.

    Rant over, for now.

Can’t see us winning the league, just hope whoever we can sign is ready to do a job in the playoffs

The reason we won't is simple Mike Martin let Csaba stay beyond last May

Ogren was clear that if we don't get up this seal we will be doing everything to get up next year, Neilson must be given time to build his own team

However our fans have a habit of going into meltdown, such a weird division this year, Morton next week can't come quick enough.

The motivation is the main thing for me. As you point out after a 5-0 home scudding you would think they would be desperate to prove a point, but no. Whereas Ayr after their humiliation at the weekend DID want to prove a point. I certainly don't blame everything on the manager but surely regarding motivation the buck stops with him?

The lack of motivation 50/50 Neilson and players.

    Team selection ...Neilson.

Substitutions ....Neilson. Safranko off at a goal down wtf.

Poor performance....100% that shower of heartless, hopeless *******s that have consistently bottled games or just not shown up all season.

    The players must go !!!

Doing everything? Everything like what? Chucking money in to sign new players? Last season we were favourites to win the league purely because we had the highest budget. But we were a long way off the pace and two teams with very modest budgets went up ahead of us because we signed the wrong players and employed the wrong tactics, something which is still happening now. Nothing has changed and there is no sign it will change.

You can chuck as much money as you like at this team - if you don't get the right players in a sort out your tactics, you're still eventually ending up with the same dross.

McKinnon was sacked because he had us playing woeful, dire football, albeit in a healthy enough league position. I think the board could see that wasn't going to last and we were going to be found out. Laszlo came in and initially improved results without really changing the tactics then the arse fell out of his plan and we reverted to type. Now we have Neilson and there still doesn't seem to be any realisation that we need to change tactics/formation. Ok, you could argue that we didn't have the players to play any other formation but Robbie has now brought in a few players, why has he not changed from playing one up front?

I tend towards the feeling we will not win the league this season. However we are still in this and things can change positively , and fairly quickly , if the players get their effing fingers oot. Motivation, determination, effort and hard work required.

If it’s the playoffs, yet again, then so be it.

Team and manager need our support, ( Arabs have been superb as ever ) One thing is for sure it will be an interesting run in.
