    2020

    It's now May 2020.

Unfortunately and as predicted by the doom mongers (realists?) on MillersMad we were relegated from the Championship just 12 months earlier, but history is repeating itself and Paul Warne has again guided us to the League 1 playoffs. Having beaten Doncaster Rovers over the two legged semi-final, just 10,000 Millers are enjoying a sunny day out at Wembley. Up against local rivals Barnsley, it's 2-2 AET and gone to penalties. Both teams have been successful with the first 4 and Kieffer Roberto Francisco Moore has just blazed Barnsley's 5th high and wide.

Up steps Semi Ajayi. Do we all yell "MISS, MISS, MISS" or do we want him to score, knowing where it could all lead?

I get it all cam..its a post of no hope..or no championship stability hope..we are (all because of money like everything else is in football now) what we are..if we do go down and end up in the play offs again your 10,000 prediction could be pretty accurate who knows..after the apathy of it all and people actually getting fed up of wembley..i dont think barnsley will be involved though..i think theyll be back up in the championship..along with a player we should have signed..

Just to add..after 51 years of it, and almost 1000 home games, just getting a little bit fed up of it..this one up front lark is so boring 😴

I love that winning feeling in any division but winning against the odds in the Championship is just that bit better. They are rare event maybe too rare.
I'd rather be bouncing between league 1 and the Championship than league 1 and 2.

Adding to that I'd much rather us be trying to establish the club in the Championship than being a comfortable league 1 club.

    Frog.
Are we actually doing that though?
What are we trying to establish because we have had a full transfer window and got a player from league 2.
If Smith gets injured we’re done. It’s not about ambition it’s simply bad planning.
Why haven’t we brought Ball back.
I think the honeymoon period is well and truly over for Warne. Too much bull for people to keep believing.

I think we will miss Smith if he was to miss a game or two but Vassell is a good striker who now just needs to stay injury free and let’s not forget we now also have Yates .
Maybe not ideal in some fans eyes but we do have three strikers so alls not lost.

I don’t know how true this is but it’s believed Ball didn’t want to come back (can’t blame him) but he should have been made to come back imo

I don’t understand why we didn’t keep Purrington because Mattock did have a bit of injury and needed a rest but never got it, can he keep going ?

Agree the honeymoon is over and management need to step up big time

Don’t write us off yet, getting behind the lads at games would help instead of sitting like we’re in the library now that is depressing me and I don’t think I’m on my own

Don’t go on other social media sites if your depressed, seriously don’t

    Agree about Purrington.
I agree about the atmosphere in the ground.

The time to judge will be end of the season just think Warne has left himself open to criticism and people will not be shy at telling him.
    3 points tomorrow.

There can't be any other way for us. TS isn't going to spend big and put us and himself at risk of losing too much money.

I agree with you about Smith because if he got injured we'd be in the mire btu remember last season when Kiefer Moore was our biggest asset and he went. We changed our style of play until Smith took up the mantel.

Ball should have been with us all season for me. I think that his link up play was second to none for us last season especially down the flanks.

I don't like our reliance on Towell because as Warne says 'he's like a dog chasing the ducks, you tell him not to do it but when your back is turned then he's chasing the ducks again. Our midfiled has been the issue this season without any shodow of a doubt!

The honeymoon period has been over for some time for Warne it's just because he's been doing well that fans haven't had cause to critisise him. He's a nice man and people don't forget that but the comments of fitting a certain type of person is important to him maybe wearing a bit thin. However that's with the fans and not within the club which is the most important thing for the club.

I said at the begining of the season that we'd be relegated , just, but relegated none the less. We've all been looking at 3 teams worse than us and at the moment we have them. Will it last? I doubt that but if it does the next transfer window will be more important than this.

For League 1 if we got relegated we will be able to attract more players because of the very reasons we're missing out on them this season if ambittion and a relegation fight is keyed into the equation.

If you are in misery now just think how you will feel if he did or didn't score
