Jimmy wasn't the manager when I first saw Notts, but by the time I was a regular at Meadow Lane, he was.
I was too young to know it then, but he was a genius.
I saw Wingers who attacked their man, Defenders who won the ball, Midfielders and Forwards who could pass and score.
Black & White shirts full of effort and energy, filled by local lads made good and a smattering of celtic warriors bringing skill and guile.
I was hooked!
