RA he may get his chance. Holmes and Marriott out for weeks Long hard season ahead dodgy keepers only one centre back ( Davies looked awful last night ) Sure I could have played better than Martin . Why different managers rave about Bird in not sure I must be missing something Lowe played well good job it was only a friendly Don't look like many more signings will be coming in ,very quiet even in the rumour mill Perhaps Steve Gibson won't sanction any for us.Wish they had told us before the season tickets went on sale ,that they were not spending a penny . They wouldn't have sold 22,000

Still almost a fortnight till the ‘window’ closes, mista. Plenty of business still to be done I hope.

Last night’s crowd was surprisingly low...how much of that is due to low expectation and how much to the road closure situation?

RA it's not low expectations it's that they were charging £20 for non season ticket holders for a friendly that's not on Forest are letting fans in free for their friendly The road closure doesn't help but fans won't be ripped of . Would imaging the club have lost money on it ,after paying stewards ,police ,caterers losing revenue etc

They would still have paid for stewarding and police etc if admission was free, so would definitely have lost money that way. Isn't it the case that catering refreshments etc profits were sold to Delaware some years back on a long term deal?
