the Juniors showing what shouldv happened

below outlines just how much of a pantomime the spfl aided and abetted by DFC and other club chairmen wanting to grab the money and throw certain teams under the bus, never forget that some of those teams contributed when we were in dire trouble
and in our hour of need and that wasnt due to a pandemic.

How on earth (at present) any chairman could relegate hearts and thistle when they couldv escaped relegation or indeed pick a champion between Raith and Falkirk beggars belief.

    STATEMENT

The East Region Management Committee met tonight, (Thursday 16/04/20) and have declared Season 2019-20
null and void. This means there are no Champions in any of our four leagues. Given the very difficult and challenging times we are in it was important to get final clarity on this season so that we can all move on.

This was not an easy decision but we felt it was the fairest one and comes within in our rule 79 which refers to the fulfilment of league fixtures. Clearly, that has not been possible and we already advised that the season was finished.

We fully appreciate this will be disappointing to some who may have preferred a different solution but whatever decision was taken was always going to cause differences of opinion.

The Management Committee hope you will now work with us to set up our leagues for next season and look forward to making these as attractive and competitive as possible.
We are currently working on proposals.

Finally a heartfelt thanks to all our Clubs for their patience and understanding...

    The Management Committee

Would have been the decision in the seniors if it hadn't been for 9 in a row that nobody outside of Celtic, rangers and sky gives a **** about.

Would like to know more about the rules that appear to be part of the Juniors constitution and if there is a similar one for the SPFL. Could the committee under Budge recommend the same decision. Declare the SPL void and therefore no promotion or relegation. If UEFA give permission to void the season might this be an option?

Presumably he is a Hearts supporter and looking forward to relegation?
