I'm glad I didn't pick the fixture I had been planning to last week as I'm still trying to fully process what I ended up watching. How can we be so good and yet be so bad at the same time?

Anyway, in terms of the PL, it was all good for Whitestomper45 (ExxE) this week as Stompy collected half of the twenty-four points available with a bookend pair of exact scorelines. McTominay though? FFS!

Belper69Ram (ExOx),CalverleyBoy (xOxE), Deklufc(ExOx), Ozleeds (xxOE) and Sniffer999(OOxO) scored nine points, with Sniffer the pick of the crew, being the only poster to score in three matches. Even de Gea looked like a goalkeeper. FFS!

Dalek takes the slimmest of leads over "Houdini" Rev72, who is followed by Belper69Ram in third.

It's not clear if Rev72 has flounced for good (hopefully not), but there were more than expected already off on their Christmas breaks. At least I hope that's the reason they were missing.

There was one draw, so Johnny_Default picked up three and moves to fifty-one points for the season. Any Strike One, Strike Two or Strike Three posters scored three, two or one points through no effort whatsoever.

Sorry to have to contact you but I had Sheff Utd to draw 1-1 and Lincoln to win 1-2, which adds up to 9 points (good job I've got 10 fingers and thumbs to arrive at this total !!) whereas you only gave me a total of 3 points this week. You must have been mesmorised by the Scum v Leeds match - whilst not a fan particularly of either club (obviously) it was one hell of a match to watch as a neutral, a real throwback to the days of more honest, go out to win, footie. Anyway, hope you can amend my total. All the best to you for xmas and hopefully a much better new year. Stay safe.
