Love him - for football- don’t like his racial stance.
Without him we wouldn’t have progressed in the last World Cup - he was the shining light - got slated when he didn’t have his best game but reality is we wouldn’t have made the semi final without him.
This competition you have to raise your hat to the lad , he goes beyond players and commits them and has scored 3 goals from open play ( not penalties or free kicks ) , yes he’s susceptible to misses but I’m glad he’s in our team .

The man that forced him out at Man City has really flattered to deceive up to know , hopefully he’ll come good Foden ( a very gifted footballer - with all the attributes ).

But for now I’ll keep Sterling

Sterling is doing a sterling job imo. He is playing his best football in an England shirt and scoring the goals we need. Given Gareth’s ultra cautious approach he has done very well to get three goals. He needs to watch his back passes though!

Needs to concentrate on his day job. Leave the "racist threats" for the relevant authorities to sort out and enjoy his football.

    Same goes for Rashford.

When he is in the mood and driving forward he is more or less unplayable.

The German defence was scared $hitless of him.

Three goals in his last four games more or less speaks for itself.

For me I am undecided. Sometimes he is brilliant and scores great goals, while on other occasions he appears to be too greedy trying to do everything himself when a good pass would create a goal scoring opportunity.

But after the Germany game he does need to watch his back passing, that could have led to a German goal, imagine giving Ronaldo or Messi that chance.

Unfortunately with Southgate as manager we do not see any other options being tried, it seems like Sterling is his player of choice and nothing is going to change that.

I feel for Harry Kane, enduring a goal drought and having to play alongside Sterling. There's more chance of a unicorn trotting onto the pitch, than Raheem making a goal chance for Harry.

44 minutes into the first half sinkov, Sterling slices through the Kraut defence, the ball falls to Kane whose first touch lets him down.

Short term memory loss affliction, mon ami?

Not at all BT, I remember it well, it was such a rare event for Harry to find himself with a goal chance playing for England, that he fecked up. I put it down to shock, or he was distracted, he was looking for the unicorn out of the corner of his eye.

Bt : I think I have that ,short term memory loss affliction? I can not remember how old you are, and now with the weather in the 30's. Women do seem to care less and less about clothing, its getting less and less and shorter. Just can not remember your age ,and if married? So here is the place to be! Did you once write you enjoyed fishing??Or could it have been 'bird watching'??
