    Wonder if game

    Will be on Saturday

Be a fairly expensive business to get it on, I'd imagine undersoil heating would have to be on constantly rather than an attempt to thaw ground out.

Banker to be off, Linda will never sanction the cost of putting the heating on

Heating should actually be on as a preventative measure not a corrective one - once the frost's in it won't be easy to shift and the ice will take days to thaw

That is the proper way but it was reported a few years ago that it cost £600 + a day to run and that will be through the roof now with the way energy costs have gone. Think the last time it was off was because the water had frozen in the bogs.
