Why should we be interested in Ivan Toney?

We've tried him once, and it didn't work out, and he does have an awful lot of history behind him.

    Depends on 2 things

1- price. He scores prem goals so I Don't see him selling for less than £45m. I personally think he's worth £35m as more the 50% of his goals last season where from the spot, not open play.

2-attitude. The man thinks he's M'Bappe. Arrogance personified. He is so disrespectful about Brentford. Calling them a sh1t little club despite them giving him the chance.

Will score goals, dunno if he fits the 'no D1ckhead' policy we adhere to when bringing players in.

So yes for goals, no for attitude. So it's a no for me

Talented goal scorer though he has become, I doubt if he would pass Eddie Howe's good character requirements.

As Bobby Robson used to impress on his talent scouts "Don't just go for good footballers, go for good people too."

I'm not sure he passes the "Person" test either.

    Not for me.

    Too many red flags.

Why did it not work out for him when he was here before?
