Sunderland AFC - Today Issue Statement Regarding Club Player Alex Pritchard

Sunderland AFC today issued the following statement -

On Friday morning, Alex Pritchard informed the Club that he was no longer available
for selection & he subsequently withdrew from todays matchday squad.

The midfielder also expressed his desire to leave SAFC with immediate effect.

The Club will be making no further comment at this moment in time.

My thoughts -

1 - Perhaps problems with new manager Michael Beale.
2 - Not automatic start playing gametime, being a substitute
3 - Birmingham City after signing him, Brum manager Tony Mowbray, sacked at Sunderland AFC.

Personally I would say number 1

I only said in the last week, I would like to see him playing for the Millers.

Nothing to do with where he’s from. They just don’t like him! Rangers fans didn’t like him either. He can’t be very nice😀
