Send England to the 2034 World Cup.
Since when did they start entertaining bids 10 years out.
Look forward to seeing rainbow burkas on the road to Mecca.
Boy, have I got a story for you....

No excuse then, plenty of time for armband sellers to come up with a more inclusive promotional campaign this time.
I can hardly wait.
It just means that we?ll have a winter time World Cup again!
So that?s the club World Cup followed by the World Cup World Cup and then euros, Africa cup and the American cup.
Only one summer in 3 to fill in for the players.
A world class player or the worlds best players will be looking at playing 65+ games per year for their clubs and then with qualifiers and tournament football they?ll be expected to play another 6 per year.
Not much travelling for the international games and mid week games across Europe or whichever continent should keep them fresh enough to put on a decent show.
I generally don?t have much sympathy for players but unless FIFA get a grip they?ll be burnt out regardless of what they?re wearing.
Are you suggesting that the possibility of holding the World Cup should be denied to any country if holding it there would interfere with domestic European leagues?
It's up to the various federations to manage their competitions appropriately. So you may have a point.
Not at all. They have proven that the World Cup can be held in the winter.
The schedule for football especially at the highest level is getting stupid. The World Club competition starts this coming summe. You have to presume that the worlds best players will be there. It will mean that they will have a short summer with no doubt friendly competitions throught the world in their pre-season. Then the year after the best players in the world will be at the World Cup which means flighing all over North America. The players will again have a short summer with other friendly competitions all over the world.
Historically the thing that gives is lower league football. This year they stopped the FA Cup replays which is a finacial bonus for most clubs.
The Premier clubs will again not want to participate in the cups. We all have to agree that it isn't those existing competitions that is the problem. It's the new competitions that they're creating that are going to eventually take its toll on the players.
It is always the supporters that miss out!
