    EFL Cup Predictiions

Let me offer my 'insightful' predictions in some selected fixtures, beginning with the obvious.

    Grimsby 1 Derby 3

Acido will be here like a rash after this.

    Crystal Palace 2 Ipswich 0
    Boro 4 S****horpe 0
    Brighton 5 Barnet 0
(they need a good win to kick start morale)

    Leeds 2 Newport 1 (AET)
( we face them next, so I hope a longish game takes its toll)
    MK Dons 3 Swansea 2
    Cardiff 1 Burton 2
    Sheff Utd 1 Leicester 3

    Tomorrow

    Newcastle 2 Forest 1
    Southampton 3 Wolves 1

    Newcastle 2 Forest 1
    Southampton 3 Wolves 1
    Lets see how I fared,

    Grimsby 0-1 Derby correct result
Cardiff 1-2 Burton correct score and result
MK Dons 1-4 Swansea - wrong
    Palace 2-1 Ipswich correct result
    Boro 3-0 S****horpe correct result
Leeds 5-1 Newport wrong since I predicted a draw on 90 mins
Sheff Utd 1-4 Leicester correct result
    Brighton 1-0 Barnet correct result

    Not too shabby.

    Newcastle 2-1 Forest?
Well I'm very happy to be wrong. Winning at St James Park, I'm a happy camper.

But honestly they're ****e man at the back. I know we're dodgy at the back, just look at their first goal. Same old 3 defenders going after 1 attacker and he still managing to wriggle free.
But their defense was on holiday.
Chelsea next, hopefully more dissent in their ranks and we do the impossible, defeating the League Champions.
