You can also argue that the rest of his game being borderline cack blinds people to just how much influence genuine pace can have on matches at our level.

2011-14 must go down as one of the most bizarre periods in our history - it's truly amazing how supposedly rubbish wingers, a fat lazy striker, poor full-backs, terrible manager etc broke all those records and never finished outside the top three.
