Thread: Saturday...

    Saturday...

As an "ex Pat" with an overseas born 6 year old I have a favor to ask for Saturday...

My favourite chants over the years have been
    1. "One nil to the cockney boys".
    2. "Your getting sacked in the morning"
    and from the old days...
    3. "Six foot two, eyes of blue, Billy Bonds is after you".

I have taught my boy to sing these three, much to the annoyance of his mother, and would love to hear the first two on Saturday as we watch on the tele...
So if we go one up this weekend...we will have our ears pinned back and ready to join in from our living room...

    Hope we can oblige..

One of my favourite goals was under Pardew against Man Utd, to take the lead.

An exquisite first time lay off from Teddy to Etherington,so precise that even he couldn't mess it up, a little scurry from him a great along the floor cross into the box and Marlon sliding in to finish off. It was surreal as we were expecting a tonking...which duly came

Just realised If I like a player I refer to them by their Christian. !

I remember that day well mike, I took my wife to her first Hammers game, George Best had just died and it was quite an emotional tribute to such a legend. Bloody freezing and a great goal so early in the game...then Rooney took over

But now they're still in the Champions League and virtually don't have anything to play for in the league. So perhaps their minds will be elsewhere. And with City to come on Tuesday night, he may rest a few bigs. Moyes won't want to lose to Liverpool and Man City at home in the space of a fortnight.

Looking at it with my positive hat on

Oh, and van Persie went off on a stretcher tonight. Which is nice

    My used to be "Pat".
My mum and dad changed it to "Tony" shortly after they realised that they already had a son called "Pat" (my elder brother Pat).
