How many rules have Reading broken over the past three seasons? They need making an example of and dumped back in League 2 on - 24 points.
Okay it looks as though they are destined for League 2 but they are still not making payments on time to players and staff. That's what you get with over spending overseas owners hoping they can bend the rules and cheat the system.
Let's hope this is sorted once and for all and stern disciplinary action is taken against the owner.

Don't hold your breath Brin.
They're probably in the EFL's "we must do everything we possibly can to save them" category.
Maybe a "new" charter from the EFL is needed, including a list of definate punishments which fits the relevant crimes. No if's and buts for the defending lawyers to worm their way out of.
They need a Rangers scenario doing to them and dump them out of the league to try and fight their way back.
League Two - Reading FC
Reading football club owner Dai Yonge has been fined £20,000 for failing to deposit the necessary
wages, at the football club.
Dai charged with misconduct by the EFL in September 2023, after not banking enough money to
cover 125% of the forecast monthly wage bill.
The EFL recommended he be banned from all football activity for 12 month's.
But the Independant DisciplinaryCommission opted against enforcing it.
The Commission described Dai's actions as " Deliberate Misconduct ".
A further £50,000 fine issued by the Independant Disciplinary Commission, has been suspended
until 12th January 2024 & that will be triggered, if he fails to deposit the required wages amount
in full.
The EFL said, it did not feel another sporting sanction against Reading FC was appropriate in this
case, as they were taking direct action against the owner.
Reading FC still remains up-for-sale.
Could be in trouble after todays pitch invasion/abandonment but don't hold your breath.
I well remember a 0-4 defeat there and getting bombarded with "We'll never play you again". Be careful what you wish for.
