    Happy Birthday Big Jack

Arguably the best Wednesday manager ever...took us on when there were better options for him, worked without a contract, stopped the rot turned us around & then walked away when he knew he'd took us as far as he could, a true legend of the club...brilliant days following Wednesday with him in charge.

    Happy 80th Jack.

Its a shame he went a bit loopy though and started thinking he was Jack Paddymac O'Charlton, Rep Oirland's number one son

Happy Birthday Jack and thank you for all the great memories while you were at Hillsborough it's true you didn't have to take us on but you did without even a contract. I was there that day you turned up just to watch us and took us on straight after the game.

Can't remember who we were playing that day but I'm sure someone will I hope.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY BIG JACK.

I was at the Aviva Stadium yesterday for the game between England and Ireland and was genuinely moved to see Jack getting a prolonged standing ovation from both sets of supporters. It's not everyday someone is a hero for both my club and country.

I remember well the perilous state Wednesday were in when he took them over, on the brink of relegation to the old 4th division. Ireland had never qualified for anything until he became manager. What a transformation he worked for both club and country.

    What a man.

Do you not like the Irish then?

Happy Birthday Big Jack, just a couple of years younger than banno. His stint managing you Pigs was before my time so I was always fond of him managing the Irish and rough necking with the big boys.

Both Jack and Bobby are both getting on now, saw them in a recent documentary and it was a bit of a shock. I suppose all the 66 squad are.

You keep out of this Pig...He's our Jack.

Oh by the way Mr. Billy Bullsh!t..You've just stated that when Big Jack managed us it was before your time...Yet on your board you state that Wednesday played "grand old hoof" under him and Wilkinson.

Same old Katch...Talking bollox on one board then even more bollox on another!
