i only followed it on text but it seemed to be a vast improvement over last season's match, though nothing for us upfront and the red card was a bummer. I haven't seen the goals so don't know how Trafford faired or if muric could have done better.
Versus Citeh..
Some decent spells from us and decent performances against probably one of the best teams in the world.A defeat was always going to be on the cards so we can now build on this 👍

Can't blame Trafford for any of the goals, just the defence in front of him.
Thought we played reasonably well, considering the streangth of the oposition. Haarland is a class striker and with the city midfield, he is likely to be top scorer again.
Hopefully the injury to Jordan Beyer will not turn out to be serious.
I agree Alf. We were definitely the curate’s egg- good in parts- and created some half chances. Haaland puts those half chances away and we don’t have anyone of that quality. I don’t think Muric would have saved any of the three goals City scored. Berge looks like he will be a real asset and O’Shea looked sound. Many of our team are new to the Premier League and I think will settle.
Stats suggest we are miles off.
1 shot on goal, 34% precession.
I don't want to go the VS Dyche, but this is where we will go.
Unfortunately these stats are no better than Dyche ball.
I really think we have a tough season ahead.
Agree unstoppable finishes, but rewind the tape to the acres of space gifted to Harland, the rewind further to the passes in midfield given away for their build up.
We lacked sharpeners, they reacted quicker, recovered quicker, I haven't seen running stats, but would say worked harder.
As an aside there are a lot of comments about our supporters throwing things at City players, surely not, we don't have any nobheads supporting us.
Happy with that, apart from picking the ball out of the net three times Trafford was virtually a spectator. We did not look like team that would be in a relegation battle, if we don't finish at least mid table I'm a Dutchman.
The Sky coverage post match brought up the booing of the knee taking as well as the throwing of a lighter. Burnley FC have quickly acted on the missile incident. The standard Sky approach is that if the knee gets boo’d then it only serves to underline that the knee taking is even more important than ever.
