    Curle - not good enough

He's not doing his job properly.

All summer to sort the defence out and he's failed miserably.

Three league games, no wins,NINE goals conceded. Relegation form.

He needs to sign two proper central defenders before Saturday or else he can f_ck right off and steal a living somewhere else.

12 months in the job - no improvement, not good enough.

He's got a proper centre half on the bench and he'll not play him!

I've never seen as many mistakes as in the last two games. We haven't got the players capable of passing the ball across the back all the time.

I can understand the reasons for not playing Henville.

You need continuity in defence not chopping and changing players around every week to accommodate a cripple whose knees are held together with plasticine.

Also, Henville was part of our horror show at the back last season - but using this logic - so was Granny Danger.

My problem is not with Henville being on the bench but the Manager having a year and failing to sort the defence out. We're stuck with Henville, but Curle has had ample opportunity to bring players in and makes us more solid defensively.

What annoys me is this 3 at the back garbage. It's ok when your wide midfielders act as backs, but ours don't. Our defence is woefully exposed time after time. Curle is trying to replicate systems in use in the Prem and Championship but players there are more highly skilled, intelligent and athletic so can play the system. Ours simply can't. A wise man once said that in this league the only system that works is 4-4-2 because players can play that way in their sleep. Curle thinke he knows better. He doesn't.

    That's right Griff.

We are rubbish in the air centrally - and are giving teams time and space to cross from the flanks. It's tactical suicide and extremely naïve defensively.

Yes deepfathom. Skilled, so they make fewer mistakes, athletic so they can get up and down all game and intelligent - so they wear the right ****ing studs.

Absolute garbage results, But regardless will still get the happy clappers. Curle as not improved the team one iota and is stealing a wage, Thats about 160 games since we were in a plus situation with goals

It was the 'intelligent' bit I was querying, but my 'hilarious' reply looked a bit pathetic written down...

Not good enough and three league games tells it's own story and not a good reading. So soon and here we go again.Perhaps to get the crowds in the attacking option was the way to go and curly top was hoping the defence would come under less pressure and cope with it... then again.
