    Murphy to West Brom....

.... surely we must have somebody lined up if this is the case?

Is the loan for that Martins completely dead.Could be him coming in as I read earlier that Henry might be getting the sack at Monaco.Could throw him going there in doubt.
If that's the case I am not sure about his attitude if he does come, but beggars can't be choosers.

Newcastle winger Jacob Murphy is closing in on a loan move to West Bromwich Albion, Football Insider understands. Are they thinking Lukaku + other cover means we do not need him? Or is this because we need to free up space re the 25 man limit?

    With Dwight Gayle coming back...Perhaps?????????

You never need to free up space,Man City have aboot 1900 players on their books, but you need to name 25 for the prem..

Given how much we paid for him and how little he's played...and how he's played, largely, when he's come on, he's been a massive disappointment.

It has to be said, mind, if he was Rafa's choice then it wasn't a good one by him.

Aye, however in his defence everybody makes signings that don't work out.

When he signed him i sure it was said he was one for the future but then Rafa was effectively not allowed to spend money as he believed he'd been promised so he became a big name (in monetary terms).

Evening lads!!! Get your hands off Gayle as he's class and must stay with us. You can keep Rondon instead as still think Gayle is twice the player and it's not just the championship as Rondon was crap at Accrington last year too! What's this Murphy like - any potential? Could he do a job for us?
