Geelong all the way for me, they had their first triumph in years in 2008.A good year! I have a couple of mates there and one of them is a Cats fanatic the other is more of a N Melbourne fan.
Ozzy, OzSaint and anyone else who likes a bit of AFL, how do you make the opening of this season?
With Adam Simpson at the helm the mighty Eagles are top, which keeps me happy! Of course you can never write off the likes of Hawthorn and to a lesser degree Geelong, but I foresee the flag coming west this season. And when I say that I don't mean Freo.
Just watched the highlights of Eagles V St Kilda. Players like NicNat, Priddis, Darling & Cox are awesome to watch. Shame about LeCras doing his arm again though.

Eagles are top,but look who've they've played...Bulldogs,Melbourne and St Kilda so can't really judge them yet, although I suspect they will make the top 8.Port look pretty good as do Hawthorn again, but I'm still tipping Sydney to win.Originally Posted by BileysThere

Sorry Jack,I meant to quote you and not the housebound weirdo.
Always liked a bit of Aussie Rules. St Kilda for the kit and Sydney Swans because, when I first watched it, they were the sympathy vote. How that has changed!
Freo to finish above Eagles?!?! Behave Ozzy!

Freo at full strength can beat anybody.
Geelong v Eagles this week should give us a better idea about you lot.

Eagles were injury hit and losing faith in the coach. We play them in round 7, I hope I'll be able to stream it at a decent hour!
In all seriousness though you're right, Geelong away will be tough.

Sure was mate,Geelong 16-11 d Eagles 4-8.Didn't think it would be that one sided but it probably went unoticed as I think everybody is still laughing at Carlton.
Port did well again.

We gave them a game for one quarter. Shame about the other three. :/
But yeah, let's all laugh at Carlton!
After yesterday,I think I might have put Sydney a little bit too high.
