    Miller in peace.

    Thursday IS a big night for both our clubs. In respect of my beloved Rotherham United, its a dream that seemed impossible just a couple of years ago, as we languished midtable in the 2nd division, playing in front of 2700 fans in a windswept athletics stadium at Sheffield with a similar atmosphere to the moon.

    Fixtures v Forest, Reading, Birmingham, Fulham etc were merely pipe dreams as we stood, freezing at Moss Rose, Aldershot and Dagenham.

    Yes, it's a big night Thursday...but nothing is big enough to make us sacrifice and cast aside some facts which reach above and beyond football...

    The towns of Rotherham & Preston share a working class background of good & decent but hard men, all of whom laid the foundations for our futures and those of our towns...and of course who created the banks of massive fans for the 40's, 50's & 60's halcyon days of football within our clubs.
