    25-1 for the title

    or 8-1 for promotion.

it seems everyone and there dog are fancied more than us.

for a x championship team surely we should be shorter?

or is it the Paul Warne effect.

Mansfield are 7-1 favourites for there league

Having watched all the league 1 playoffs games very carefully im even more confident we'll do well next season because i wasn't impressed with either Bradford, S****horpe and Fleetwood in their matches and i think 3 or 4 good signings will give us a great chance at promotion imo.

Ah, but there's the real point, 3 or 4 good signings.

I'm expecting signings but they will either be young lads we're taking a chance with, or tired old injury prone journeymen, or loan players we can't hold onto.

Seems like the bookies think similarly

Bill Hills have cut Rotherham into 16-1 for the title. Still 10th favourites though.

Hopefully this week we'll start to see the calibre of new recruits. As we're now well versed in a crocks, rejects, never will be, never was, cheap as chips recruitment philosophy we could be pleasantly surprised...

    Or maybe not!

Tony, I have been on William Hill website but can't find where the title and promotion odds are. Any suggestions?

We may be an Ex Championship club but we were relegated with the worst record ever for a champ side. Hence the long odds.

Bolton were miles worse than us in 15/16 when they finished bottom & look how they performed.

Ok so we finished well behind but the Championship is light years better than League 1 and I reckon the team that turned out the last three games would have beaten Millwall or Bradford with something to spare.

Last seasons gone so top 6 is a minimum this year.
