    In the interest of balance.

I think tbh a few should be posting today just how good Hendrick and Vokes were yesterday.

I mean gents credit where credits due , Hendrick competed , broke up play and did what a midfielder should.

Vokes was magnificent won most headers found Barnes when he could , brought the ball down and used it intelligently.

All against what can only be described as a team of world beaters , de bruyne is simply different league to anything I've seen for some time , absolutely ran the show from minute 1.

We were watching the premier league champions and reality is we could have lost 4-5 goals but could have scored 2-3 our selves.

I just think last few weeks these two lads have had a bit of stick and really should be congratulated for yesterday.

I agree with you, however, this also goes for the other 10 players who put on the Claret shirt yesterday. I just do not think that quite a number of our fans realise the amount of effort that is put in every week by our players. As a fan you definitely can't ask for more from a player, no matter how good or bad he is.

    Agreed super sub.

I just think that those two have had grief that's un called for ,

It was a mammoth effort from all our players.

For the life in me I do not know why SD has been farting about with Hendrick playing as a number 10 and not playing Barnes and Vokes in a 4-4-2?

Vokes always makes the ball stick, Hendrick is brilliant in midfield. I think SD has been trying to accommodate Cork, Defour and Hendrick but has jeopardised our offensive intent whilst doing so. Now Defour is sadly out of the equation, problem solved.
