Chris Martin..... is there a way back?

Before I’m shot down...... his loan is up and he will be on his way back to Pride Park! I assume he’s not worked at all with Frank but could he have a place next season?

Can’t see Nugent getting a new contract and CM is a similar player..... could he have a place in our team?

Could he play along side Marriott?

    Thoughts......

Rich sorry mate not for me He's finished he's yesterday been no good for three seasons Definately not a Lampard type player you need to put in the miles in the training ground and he's not going to that The bits I've seen of him in TV with Hull he looked poor Best to forget him the trouble is we have for another year So that's probably near on a £1million wasted Can't see any Championship team even wanting him on loan

Forgetting the alleged background "noise", Coldplay doesn't fit FL's requirements for his Centre Forward. It's that simple.

.... or is it? With Sarri being given permission to talk to Juve, will FL's requirements be relevant for next season?

I hope he is too sensible to go to the poisined chalice.

There probably is a way back for CM but not to Pride Park. He'd do well at Meadow Lane I reckon

It’s a long time since we, or anyone else, saw the best of Chris Martin, maybe four years.
God only knows what a certain someone was doing handing out a contract like that to him, but although I’d like to have the option of Waghorn or Marriott playing off a big man I doubt if CM has the attitude to be a beneficial addition to this squad.

Don’t actually see many similarities between Nugent and Martin, Rich...but for me they’re both finished at Derby.
