    O/T:- Karen Brady

I see she wants the season cancelled? Obviously nothing to do with their position in the table.

Think she wrote the piece for the Sun on Saturday. Thats ok,cancel it. No promotions or relegations this season. The tables stay as is. When the season starts up again, teams in relegation places now start on minus X & plus for those in the promotion positions & no transfers till January. I bet she won't like that

Exactly and if she gets her wish NOBODY in England will get a promotion.

The good news is she will be up against Liverpool who obviously wont agree with her.

People like her need to be very careful what they wish for LFC and MUFC will want to carry on if they get screwed over how long before they form a European breakaway league ?

A former player on sky sports suggested cancel the season but the top two from the championship come up and the league will consist of 22 teams next season but then 5 would go down.
Could this work throughout the leagues?

Why should teams that have struggled all season get off scott free. Bolton, Southend have no chance of staying up even if the season finished

Playing behind closed doors is another answer but like PSG the fans gathered outside in vast numbers

The idea was 4 down and 2 up from championship next season again, sounds totally fair doesn't it ?!

In short its aload of bollox and teams like Stevenage deserve to go down and Barrow to go up.

Otherwise everyone apart from Leeds/WBA have been paying lots of cash to watch glorified friendlies.

Play midweek during the day, but if we go into lock down, then not good idea

    .
I suppose the thinking behind it is that you wouldn't be punishing anybody nor denying anybody a likely promotion. Though obviously that's not going to placate those in a play-off position. I feel it's more sensible than null and voiding but I think plans for a new season is ludicrous at this stage because there's still a high risk that 2020/21 will be severely delayed and/or disrupted by a 2nd wave.

I believe the most sensible option is having a roll over, just play when we can and not have fixed dates for the end of this season and the beginning of next. That isn't without issues related to contracts etc., but it's the fairest way.

If it all clears up between October and Xmas, then maybe we'll have to consider what they did in the war, split every league into North and South so you'd have a 22 game season and then play off for promotion/relegation between the two.

This season needs to be finished even if it means cancelling next season. Promotion too or not being relegated from the Prem is worth 100 million smackeroonies. Can you imagine the lawsuits flying if this season is cancelled? In other news, are we playing tomoz or not?
