Watched it because everything else was dog$hit. 45% Tim’s , 45% Huns , 5% English fitba , 3% Scottish news , 2% the rest of the ****ing teams in Scottish football. Embarrassing.

I've still got the radio series on tape somewhere and that was great. When Tony Roper left it was game over.

The Radio Scotland original was broadcast as we were on our way to Lice Park, Dundee, for the opening game of the 86-87 season, and it was a very funny one-off, spoofing William McIlvanney’s then recent Only A Game. Its putrifying carcass was flogged mercilessly as New Firm (2012) inbred thickos found it hilarious by the way.

Add it to your list sonofrgmsdad.

Edit: Happy New Year Comrade Max. No saviour from on high deliver, no trust have we in prince or peer. Name: 25FAAF97-0B0A-4737-ACC2-2A85B4F737E5.jpg

It was never as funny as the Scotch and Wry sketch about the original Rangers
