    France and Germany

Seems Zelensky has acknowledged the U.K. has helped more than most and he thanks us for our support. Boris will come out of this well.

Typical though two other countries were mentioned ie France and Germany for putting their own interests first. There are still a number of French companies doing business in Russia. Disgusting!!!!

Typical of the French and Macron and Germany which is why NATO will never be 100% together. The Ukrainians don’t want to leave their country unlike many of the illegal boat people still coming in which represents a security threat. Boris should let Macron and France have this problem and return any illegals back to France!

In fairness Germany is trying to undo many years of Merkel wanting to be nice nice with Putin....

Ursula von der Leyen has a lot to answer for. Was very vocal is supporting Ukraine BUT it was she is who slashed the German defence budget.
During her time as Defence minister funds were so low that during a Nato exercise the German contingent did not have enough firearms to supply the troops, It was reported that use had to practice with brome handles, I kid you not.

But as always our once so called European Partners look after their own self interests.

All this nightmare could have been avoided. We all know that Putin is a dangerous individual but he is not alone. The EU pushing further East year by year was at some point going to cause this issue. Putin has been planning this for years. It was inevitable this conflict would happen some day. If you play with fire what did they expect. Should have prepared for it

Problem is that there is no turning back now it will be us and the yanks again supporting the other slav countries.

Cant rely on Europe, could not even sort out the Balkans and the former Yugoslavia. Again it was us and the Yanks who had to intervene

Exactly!! Macron will still try and appease Putin and Germany will worry about the energy supply! Putin knows this!!

Ukraine will be carved up for sure and all the little sanctions will come off the table. Spineless and pathetic are NATO! Don’t like Boris but to his credit he has done more than most!
