Agents fees - League one 2021-22 season - period covers 2 transfer windows.
01 - £796,224 Sheffield Wednesday
02 - £779,739 Ipswich Town
03 - £355,774 Wigan Athletic
04 - £310,244 Sunderland
05 - £258,952 Wycombe Wanderers
06 - £195,079 Charlton Athletic
07 - £194,124 Portsmouth
08 - £171,934 Oxford United
09 - £154,612 Rotherham United
4 other clubs between the Millers & £100,000
With 11 clubs less than £100,000 paid to agents.
Crewe Alexandra paid the lowest agent fees, being £3,750
Has expected Sheffield Wednesday one of the top spenders,
then Ipswich Town multiple spender on amount of transfers,
a shock that Wycombe Wanderers in 5th place.
Rotherham United agent spend a good amount for the club, & top of the league position.

Wow, some very rich scabs on the aarse of football, how the hell have we (not RUFC) got into this? No doubt its "tax deductable" for the big clubs...............money sailing down the river, never to be seen again in the game.
By my reckoning that 154K got us 3 year deals on Rathbone, Odoffin and Bola, 2 year deals on Vickers and Ferguson and possibly the 1 year extension on Wood although I think that was him exercising his option. Not such a bad return at an average of say 15K per player per year (or 22K per player per year if you just include the 3 main successes of Rathbone, Vickers and Ferguson) and without spending it we possibly wouldn't be top of the league and playing in a cup final.

It's not done Ipswich or SWFC much good has it.
Not surprising though as They both signed a lot of players many of which appear to be in the Blackstock can't be bothered mode
