There was a strong case that possession football means zip look no further than Blackpool v QPR last night.
Blackpool had 38% possession and won 6-1. 38% was the average that Leicester had when they won the Prem btw.

Its about hitting the back of the net. ( Like our home match v Chelsea when we won 3-0. we were hammered possession wise and we only had three shots all game. They all went in)

Pity about the replay when we were murdered 4-0 due to Big Dave losing the plot with Livermore - Barry and Harper in the middle. So zero pace and Barry and Livermore were like cart horses. Robson Kanu and Gayle played on the wings and if they are wingers then Button is England’s number 1

Never been so embarrassed at a match as that one! Could have been 7!

Rather the freebie was at Pizza Express after watching that selection and display plus being laughed at by local Leeds supporters. Playing Barry when his legs had gone in a three middle along side Livermore was not the brightest tactic. That again Big Dave is not the brightest tool in the box!
