    Integrity of Vincent Kompany

Lets be reaistic with the job done by VK it is obvious he will leave sooner or later. IMO VK has plenty of integrity and I hope he wont leave unless he has seen Burnley right, i.e. a good new manager. I suppose that is the only thing I would ask for. VK providing information as to where the new manager should be sourced. I am probably thinking pie in the sky but I can only hope. Like I have said I think VK is integrity personified lets hope he proves to be the case.

Does anybody really think he will go to Chelsea or Tottenham? Or any other club for money when he's on a work in progress with Burnley.. He's a man of his word, not a Judas like that cnut Coyle..
To go to either Chelski or Spuds would be a poisoned chalice for him and do nothing to enhance his career in football.
Keeping us in the Premier league next season will do wonders for him and then ,but only then he will move on to pastures new and only if it suits him.He could be with us a few years if given support by Pace and company..

From a personal standpoint I would like him to give us two seasons in the EPL and then see where we are. Here’s hoping!

With all the speculation flying about the last few weeks, I would have liked him to have come out and make a statement to everyone saying he’s not going anywhere. But he didn’t. What was stopping him? Then we could have all put it to one side and concentrated on bringing home the title.
Today I read he’s on Chelsea’s shortlist - more bollox.
Who thinks these things up ?

Part of the reason for coming to the North West is family life. His wife is from Manchester (?) and his children are settled at school. My guess is that he will leave us for Man City when the time is right.

London makes no sense. They are both poisoned chalices.

Nailed it there Swiss imo, he's getting all his ducks in a row with us, just waiting for Pep to leave City. He knows what he's doing, he knows where he's going, and it's not Spurs or Chelsea.

    .

as he's said, it's not just him, it's all those around him, the results go the pitch, the skills (or not) of the players, the quality of the opposition/tactics, and the Kompany/Bellamy reaction.
So it would be interesting to see how they cope in the PL, which i'm not, because.....well, you know why.

It’s not a manager’s job to deny every media inspired bollox that gets thrown up. Newsflash popped up here this morning that Pace has offered VK a pay rise and another year on his contract. Meanwhile we’re on the brink of another trophy in the cabinet.

That was in the Mail a couple of days ago, what made me smile was the journo saying that means Spurs can forget about taking him off us. Maybe, but that even a hack on a national newspaper would say that, just shows how far we've progressed in the last 12 months.
