Forest's firm stance on the subject has seemingly backfired, however, after data collection gathered by The Athletic shed light on which Premier League sides are the worst offenders for adjusting the position of a ball for set-pieces. Nuno's side sit top of the list with a 50% move rate, followed by Manchester City (40%), Bournemouth and Liverpool (23.1%).
Although Forest have only taken direct shots on goal on two occasions this season, Morgan Gibbs-White attempted to gain an advantage during the 2-0 defeat at Manchester City in September. The English midfielder brought the ball backwards as Moussa Niakhate wiped away the foam laid out on the pitch.

Gibbs-White's effort on this occasion deflected wide for a corner, though the repositioning of the ball was not spotted by anyone except for Manchester City defender Ruben Dias.
