If this geezer is linked to Lai in anyway it blows Patel’s credibility right out of the water.

That was my first thought! Seems one huge coincidence and a tax dodge

On Linked-in there is another Yukai Sun who is founder and portfolio manager for Acacia Global Partners based in San Francisco which is described as a "quality and growth investor". He also sits on the board of KeepGlobal based in both Chicago and Beijing. With a background in business investment he seems a more likely fit for the position than a statistician but it is probably not him either. Hopefully Mr Patel will follow through on his promises of transparency and put our minds at rest regarding any links to Lai.

I’m sure he’s just Chinese. There’s a lot of them. We can’t stop eating Chinese take aways because Lai is Chinese.

I can! Known fact that most Chinese ******** in restaurants and take aways are disgustingly filthy. Most people love a particular Chinese in our town but fail to look at the hygiene certification which gives it a score of 1

Let’s hope there’s no connection to Lai and look forward to this question being posed!

Action for Albion don’t seem concerned, they say this has nothing to do with the club it’s just the name of the company.

Correct. Shilen Patel bought the majority shareholding for Group and NOT Holdings which to the best of my knowledge he has nothing whatsoever to do with. More West Brom News b@ll@x by the looks of things.

I don’t believe for a second with confidently clauses etc that A4A know anymore about anything than the rest of us. If you were the CEO would you divulge anything sensitive?

I do like the Maynard wine gums though at half time so perhaps A4A can update whether the East Stand will keep stocking them 😂

I’m not sure of what parts of West Brom that Patel purchased 68…..did he buy the holdings company or not?

I just think it’s an extremely unfortunate choice of person and nationality to choose this individual whilst not giving fans clarity.
