There's no denying vaulks is a good bloke.
I once went to watch them train down at roundwood. Vaulks trains just as his advice in the letter suggests, full of energy and with a beaming smile on his face. During target practice if any of the players hit a wild shot which went way over or miles wide they just turn and trudge back to the line of players, leaving the youth lads to retrieve the ball. Not vaulks, if he hits a dud (rare), he bolts straight after the ball and retrieves himself. Very grounded young man.
Almost certainly somebody elses good bloke come the summer. It wouldn't surprise me if he stays fairly local.
Thought it was going to be a goodbye letter because it looks like he'll be off.
Radio Sheffield covered this last week. Made me think then, just how special this lad is.
What a great ambassador for the club.
A credit to his parents and everyone who knows him.
If he's going this summer let's hope we get a decent fee for him......undisclosed anyone.
I too think he will stay local.
You must be joking.Bruce will not have the funding, his chairman explained that on his appointment.I can see the Blades signing him when they get all that Premier league treasure to spend. He has improved no end this season and looked very comfortable playing at international level last month.I would certainly not be looking at anything under 3 million and that is a bargain price!!!
