Human Rights World Cup - my arse!

You have to laugh, alcohol now banned and per diem payments arbitrarily cancelled.

No compo for dead and injured workers and families either.

England instead of posturing and taking the knee I think should just jump on "Do One Airlines" and return home.

    This is farcical.

Too late now, far too late, if our virtue-signalling millionaires had said right at the outset, 'the rest of the world can please itself, we ain't going', something might have happened. But they didn't, the hypocrites put self-interest first and went along with it. No good moaning now. None of the players, coaches or media has to be there, none of them have been forced to go, but seeing as they've gone along with it so far, and they've rocked up in the ****-hole, they should, imo, at least have the humility to simply hang their heads in shame and shut the feck up.

Not just that bill but also the security that is being put in place in case any of them are set upon and robbed of their expensive jewellery etc., etc.

Robbery in Qatar mein freund? I think robbing a WAG might be a tad fecking risky in that environment.

If one is a professional footballer I am guessing that playing at a World Cup is the pinnacle.

For many, they may only ever have one chance in their career, if at all.

I have some sympathy, therefore, with the players.

The fact is that they should never have been placed in this position. Sepp Blatter has admitted in Tages Anzeige that the decision for Qatar was corrupt. FIFA should have revoked the award the minutes it became clear that the decision was corrupt.

I have sympathy with them as well Swiss, of course they want to play in the WC Finals, but to do that they must have decided that their career ambitions were more important than any moral or political concerns about Qatar. In which case, having subjugated their principals to career ambitions, it's the height of hypocrisy to now start moralising about Qatar and/or it's governance. They wanted to play football in a WC Final, and never mind where it's being held, and now they are, so imo they should just get on with the football and shut the feck up about the rest of it.

If they start wearing Rainbow bands and taking the knee, I swear to God I will throw up.

That makes two of us BT. I am not watching it on principal. If we have to grovel over slavery we ended over 250 years plus ago then why watch modern slavery in this world cup. The dead worker families from Napal etc get nothing yet I must watch BLM knee bobbing virtue signalling. Well not me.

Better keep the bucket close, BT. I have no idea what trans rights etc has to do with football. Height of hypocrisy when, apparently, gay footballers are scared to «*come out*». With all the armbands and knee taking, *rse licking etc you would have thought that any gay footballers would be worshiped.
