Stubbs arrived on the back of a Scottish Cup win having successfully restructured Hibernian and, given his high level playing career, could have been expected to use his contacts in the game to good effect. Jackett seemed the ideal candidate, very knowledgeable, very experienced and he looked a perfect fit but, for whatever reason, chose to walk away.
So, managerial performances rather than managerial appointments are the more deserving of criticism.
Now, TS has, apparently, decided that the quality of manager we need is not available or, being almost a certainty for relegation, we're not currently an attractive proposition. So, he's opted for Paul Warne to hold the reins. There are arguments for and against but time will tell. Maybe. One thing though is certain, we'll get more commitment, effort, drive and determination from Warney than from all the above-mentioned, even if he is lacking in knowledge and experience.
