    O/T Band Of Brothers.

I’m a bit behind on catching this as it’s been around a few years.

I’ve just finished the first episode and have to say it’s outstanding. I think I’ll be binge watching this over the next few days.

Yes it’s good, an up rated Saving Private Ryan

For some reason I found episode 6 Bastogne a bit boring seemed to lack the pace and tension of the other episodes

I thought that was a good episode actually, thought Shane Taylor who played Eugene Roe was going to be a big star.

    Just a bit behind!

Have a look at how many now very famous British and Irish actors you can spot.

Just the 18 years late. I’d been watching WW2 in colour on Netflix so I wanted to watch something else.

Just finished the 2nd episode and that was even better. What those men went through was remarkable.

Would you recommend The Pacific once I’ve finished this?

Personally I was disappointed with Pacific

Excellent viewing. Agree Pacific not as good but still worth a look

Not a patch on "The Thin Red Line" IMO.

Although I know some people find that film slow and pretentious I know.

incidentally, the thin red line was the second book in a trilogy by James Jones who wrote From Here to Eternity"1",then Some Came Running"3",all made into films.
