Last one before the serious football gets underway and I've a feeling when people work out the year it might cause most on here some stress. Never fear though, for some reason quite a few of the songs were re-releases of older songs, many by original artists and some as covers. Obviously I'll be looking for the artist who had the hit in the year in question but as always partial kudos is awarded for getting the song.

In the footballing world Brian Tiler tragically dies in a car accident attending the first major tournament where England began a lifetime of penalty shootout misery and as a consequence appointed a turnip as the next manager.
