A great display last night buy why the terrible corners? Time and again we are unable to clear the first defender, and this is a regular feature of our play.
We have ten outfielders, can we not train one or two of them to be specialist corner takers. I remember Henri used to take Arsenal corners and was deadly. You would think a finisher like him was more dangerous in the box but was preferred taking them.
Apart from two N'Gala goals in one game I can't remember us ever looking likely to score from corners.

I would expect a lot of teams say the same about poor corners as it is a difficult thing to get right.
The point on Henry shows this and the fact he took them and not being in the box, why would a world class player take them if so easy? Do Rooney and Van Persie not often take corners too?

Poor delivery from dead balls is not just our problem. You see that a lot in the Prem - most of them don't make it past the first man. Like foul throws that go unpunished it gets right up my nostrils. Talking of nostrils, (which I was), public nostril clearing on to the pitch, when I am having my tea (especially macaroni cheese) should also be banned.
