    For starters:
    Set up an FA super academy at Bisham Abbey for all English non-squad youths(16+)
    under contract to Premier League clubs.
    Top class coaches supervised by the England manager to train and organise teams
    to form the basis for feeding talent to the national team.
    All to be funded by the Premier League.

    The answer is very very simple to me, it's a no brainer...

    My thoughts on the solution? firstly the reasons we cannot compete at the top level;

    Premier league;
    touted as the best league, that's debatable, but each and every club is allowed to buy whoever, whenever they like, this means they invariably go out and buy the best foreign players, the league is awash with them, this invariably means they do not play young English talent.

    SKY;
    Ultimately responsible for creating the premier league.

    FANS;
    Ultimately responsible for funding the same.

    THE FA;
    Responsible for the game, capitulated with the premier league to allow the aforementioned to happen.

    THE MEDIA;
    Also responsible for capitulating to the premier league and supporting and slating English players at the same time.

    Just a background to what and why our players cannot compete, firstly, there is no difference in the talent of ANY 16 year old kid, whether they're English, French, Brazilian, Italian, etc etc, none. The dif

    have they ever thought about having a root and branch investigation into the failings of our national team?

    Oh wait on,Brian barwick did that years ago!!

    Put a wage cap on footballers and remind them that playing for the country of their birth should be the pinnacle of any players career,not how much money and how many cars you have and how big your house is.

    And make them have a pint in the pub after matches with the fans so they know what the people who pay their wages week in week out feel after matches win loose or draw.

    Get a decent coach who doesn't change his style of football based on which club side played the most successful football during the previous season (Chelsea 2012, Liverpool 2014). Build a team around our best player (instead of playing him on the left wing) and have someone in midfield that can dictate play (Wilshere).
