    Let's not get carried away

Yes a good win ,plenty of endeavour and grit but we are still carrying some passengers Vigurs and Ramsden to but 2 . Did Jackie Mac show us no respect dead right he did by playing his youth team from the start so he got what he deserved and some of his comments on BBC radio was out of order . Thought Henrik is getting sharper by the game but if the team had shown the same attitude in other games we wouldn't be where we are and we wouldn't be looking for a new boss

Loved it when he said he was unhappy with ref strange how he failed to mention the gift the lineswoman gave them. I dont seriously think any Mwell fan will get carried away esp as ICT away our next game. We are still utterly desperate at holding onto possession esp in closing stages but they dug in and the state we are in is all we can ask.

I think it's fair to see we're getting a little bit better each game, the last 3-4 games have had some improvements.

    Still no great shakes

Still not getting carried away but expect us to finish 2nd ! (kidding)

Ok lets not but thought most of our players bust a gut tonight. I thought we might start to fade in the last 20 minutes but we stuck ar it. So glad we moved back to a back 4. Said before the game we needed to have a sitting midfielder as Lasley and vigurs tend to wander forward. Ramsden protects the back 4 and slowed down the United attacks which gave las and the wandering Kerr time to get back. Still don't like Ojamma right through the middlle. When he drifts to the left the space he gets to turn and run at defenders just works for him and us. Only fault I would say is not lifting his head. A lot of hard work still needed. Twadzik did amazingly to keep us in the game in the first half but by christ he does half gi e me the fear at back post crosses. Thought sutton did well but he really does need to make a wee run to the front post every now and again. One thing that was evident tonight was the energy, it was a lot better tonght. Keep that up with that fornation and we will be fin

you've got to ask where the effort and energy's been for the last couple of months. It's took the manager to resign from his post to give the players a kick up the a*** they needed, they all should take a long hard look at themselves this morning. Ok that particular rants over. I thought we played ok last night, as said the difference from the last few games was simply effort for me. Black changed the formation slightly and it suited us better because we have no pace in our team. Thought Ojamma had a good game, he seems to be getting back to where he should be. Vigurs summed himself up last night when he couldn't put a 20 yard pass in to put a player right through on goal then does an brilliant double step over a minute later and takes a two players out the game. Someone has to take him aside a teach him a bit of work ethic.

re: Let's not get carried away

We certainly must not get carried away over a combination of players upping the effort in a typical response to a manager leaving, United underestimating us and missing several glaring chances and for once this season us having a bit of luck.

My fear is that the club look at this as an opportunity to justify handing Kenny Black the job on a more permanent basis or at least until the end of the season and this would be a disaster for us and would see us finish bottom IMO. This cannot and must not happen.
