    DW should not have given that interview to the Guardian.
    He was up against an experienced and barratrous journalist (who also happens to be a City fan with an FA Cup chip on his shoulder) who had an agenda, and that was to trip DW up.
    In this whole episode the media have an agenda and that is to sell newspapers/TV subscriptions which, in turn, gives them advertising revenue. Printing a story about DW making jam with the local Women's Institute will not sell newspapers.
    DW has his faults but he is a gentleman and there would be no WAFC without him.
    He has committed no crime. He was entrapped into using the language of his early years which was wholly acceptable in those days and, whether you like it or not, is still widely used today.

    Theres a lot more worse happening in this Country, yet they jump on the bang wagon and pick on a Old Man.Bullying tosspots at the highest order. knighthood for Dave pls.

    he was always going to be exposed for appointing MM in the first instance, and I'm sure our chairman will regret this decision forever. I would imagine he got a good coach on the cheap as no other club would touch him with a barge pole, but the repercussions to our club are far greater than 3 points on matchday
