Reaction From Everton Fans Disappointed David Moyes

Moyes disappointed by Everton fans feelings towards him.

Former Everton manager David Moyes has told FourFourTwo that he was disappointed by the reaction he got from the Everton fans when he returned there last season with Manchester United.

Moyes left Everton in 2013 to take the Manchester United job when Alex Ferguson stepped down, and he received a hostile reception during his first game back at Goodison Park.

Speaking about the abuse he received from the Everton faithful, Moyes said that he wasn’t surprised by the reaction he got in his first game back there because that is how football fans can be.

He believes that he got Everton competing at the top end of the league with a mid-table budget and therefore he was disappointed with the fans for getting on his back.

We should unveil some sort of a memorial plaque dedicated to him.

He kept us alive for ten years then crushed our dreams.

Said it before. He strung our Club along over a new contract when he knew he was leaving weeks before he actually announced it. Then reveals how when Ferguson called to tell him to hold off on signing a new deal, he thought he was calling to "tell me he was taking one of my players"; like he was Fergies' bitch or something. Add to that the fact he then made derisory offers Baines and Fellaini.

Looking at it, I really am at a loss as to why Evertonians gave him such a hard time
