    Boxing

    The Chicophant was reporting on BBC Radio Shortbread that there may have been fisticuffs on the dressing room at Cappielow last night. I wonder if the decision to sack IB was forced by that.

    If so, we may not have to shell out compensation.

    Quite frankly, good...a shame the same passion hasn't always been seen on the park but at least it shows there's something there if the next boss can find it.

    It was between split sections of players according to a decent source. He put it this way;
    - players who give a to55 about the club and it's fans
    - guys who run about a lot, but hide at every turn
    - blokes that are only here to pick up a paycheck

    To my mind, that means it was 4 versus 7 versus 11 respectively !!

    Not according to what's coming out of the dressing room via player involved.Barraclough voiced his disgust at performance and blamed several individuals who it is suggested started to point finger at others and it kicked off from there.

    Its good to have passion in the dressing room but not fisticuffs. What if someone ended up with a broken nose or jaw and was out of action for a week or two?

    They'd have been fined and we'd have to cope with it.

    I appreciate it's not ideal but after the crap we've watched this season I'm happy to take our chances that they can be professional after it and pull together rather than they just shrug and go home after another miserable showing.
