A difficult game against a team who I thought would be doing better so far but of course it's still very early days . Would love to see Del get his 100th goal for Queens but preferably next week at Palmerston as I can't make Dunfermline
I'm looking forward to Saturday and a trip to Dunfermline where we will line up against some familiar faces. From Hutton in goals to Gav Reilly up front there is potentially a sprinkling of ex- Queens players in the opposition ranks. That should add just a bit of extra spice to what will undoubtedly be a difficult game. Gavin Skelton and his staff have certainly generated a real feelgood factor around Queens and if "Magic" Johnston has Dunfermline playing with the same attacking style he employed in his time at Palmerston I would say we are in for an entertaining game.
If Queens play to their full potential I would think we will be good enough for a win. Hopefully Del will finally reach the "Ton" mark and we are treated to at least one Dobbie wondergoal (a deflection or mis-kick will do as well) but it doesn't really matter who scores as long as it is a Queens player.

This could be the game when Queens come unstuck.
I sincerely hope not, but I suspect that Dunfermline have not been firing on all cylinders.
Regardless of the outcome, I fully expect this game to be a cracker.
Our fine start is all well and good with confidence soaring . Realistically though , we are playing a far bigger team in resources than us and they are at home as well. A point would be a good result.
Reckon this will be an entertaining match.
Couldn't agree more, JRS. We may not like to admit it, but by all conventional measurements Dunfermline is a "bigger" club than Queens. They are an older club, East End Park is a bigger and better ground than Palmerston, they are better supported and they have enjoyed substantially more success throughout the years than we have. That said, they have had a mixed start to the season. They lost out in the League Cup to Dundee United and ICT; and they have only one win out of three games in the league but, to be fair, their two defeats came against Hibs and Raith Rovers, both away. I would expect that, with Magic at the helm, Dunfermline are going to come good. I only hope that they don't come good this coming Saturday.
Looking forward to heading back to East End Park as it has been 5 years since we last played there. (16th April 2011)
I remember getting that 6-1 thrashing on that day but didn't realise that was actually the last game we played there.
Dunfermline had a tough couple of away games and will be glad to be at home but still I personally think Queens have a great chance of picking up the 3 points on Saturday but wouldn't be disappointed with just a point to carry on the decent start to the season we are having.
Also would be great to see Lyle getting his 100th & Dobbie his 60th Queens goals this weekend.
