If that happens Slimy then we'll really be in deep dooda. I'll go for us winning 2-0 with ten to play but then letting in a silly goal and having to deal with a horrible last ten minutes plus before recording our first home win since early April. It's the 'Derby way'...but hopefully things will change.

Blimey...can see why mista describes me as 'optimistic'. It's all relative.

If Wes Brown plays, I think we'll win, otherwise I'll predict 2-2 (a 2 goal lead for the Rams - they'll pull one back with 20 mins to go and then equalise in stoppage time....)

Wrist slashers utd!! Now let's think about this logically - our strike force is capable of a goal in eight games, we've managed 2 goals all season, our midfielders contribution to the goals for is........well moving on, we ain't scored at home in the league, we don't do crosses into the box, we have nobody who can take half decent corners/free kicks..........oh I give up where's the cut-throat

Serious and sad point...if the comments on this thread are indicative of the attitude of Derby fans at the match tomorrow then it really does tell us something about what the players are up against. I know we turn up in numbers and it's all born out of concern but it must be hard performing in such a climate of fear in front of so many wristslashers each week.
Not sure how we change it and I know we all have every right to criticise and the 'poor darlings' should be able to handle it on what they're paid etc, but such fear and negativity on match day can't be helpful. Almost as if we have to win over our own 'supporters' before beating Blackburn.

They do have to win the supporters over Anag.

Nobody can really criticise 100% effort from the players, but I do not think we are even seeing 70% effort from most of them and that is what is unacceptable IMO.

Anag. Agree it must be hard performing in such a climate of fear But hats the excuse for the away performance I still have not got over those performances at Burton and Barnsley I can't gave a forecast for tomorrow my heart says win but my head says another defeat That Emnes and Marshall will give us plenty of problems Don't think I will be going in Ladbrokes

Understand that OTR and I agree about Burton and Barnsley mista. Just seems that at the iPro, say we go an early goal behind, then we've got even more of a mountain to climb because of the fans paranoia spreading on to the pitch. Not even sure it's worse at Derby than elsewhere although performances like Hull away, where expectation was about zero, might suggest so.
It's something I thought Pearson would cure...a sort of collective time to 'man up' attitude. Still early days but not much sign so far and it is a problem.
