If we were to replace AS with God Almighty himself he'd still only have the current squad to work with for the next 15 games. I know the manager has to shoulder the lion's share of the blame (he brought them in and he sends them out to play a certain way) but it's time some of them manned up and did what they are paid (well) to do.

There is enough in this squad to be performing a lot better than we are doing. Results are always going to be difficult against clubs with much higher budgets but we could and should be more competitive.

Because he's out of work, and that's probably the only reason. In fact, I think we have generally done better when we take a manager who is already in a job than we do when we offer the job to someone either new to management or on the rock and roll (NW excepted). I stand to be corrected though.
